About Us

The FBI Birmingham Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBICAAA) was incorporated in 2006.  We are a community-based and supported organization, distinct and separate from the FBI.

Founded as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the FBICAAA supports charitable events and programs that have an interest to our alumni and are compatible with the goals and direction of the FBI.  We support FBI initiatives and serve as ambassadors within our communities, providing basic information about the FBI to our neighbors, towns, and cities.

Our Mission
To promote a safer community through service projects and a process of educating business, labor, media, medical, minority, religious, government, senior citizens, and other community leaders about law enforcement, with particular emphasis on the mission, resources, and limitations of the FBI.

Citizens' Academy
The Alumni Association sponsors two Citizens Academy classes each year - one in Huntsville (Spring) and one in Birmingham (Fall).

We currently have over 300 alumni.
